A wine and jewellery evening with Elizabeth Peacock, former MP for Batley and Spen, is to be held on Thursday 19 November starting at 7.30pm Elizabeth will bring along some of her ever changing jewellery collection, which includes a wide selection of bracelets and necklaces designed and produced by Elizabeth in differing price ranges. She will start the evening by describing the various semiprecious stones, beads and pearls that she uses and where she has collected them around the world. Given time availability she will talk about some of the famous jewellery she has studied belonging to Elizabeth Taylor, the Duchess of Windsor and the Romanovs.
Those present can then select and purchase items from Elizabeth's collection with a good percentage of the price going to the Association. During the event wine will be available to make it a pleasant evening affair. The charge is £5, to include one glass of wine.
