Chris Dilworth- Morley North

Chris Dilworth has lived locally all his life. After growing up on a council estate in Tingley, Chris moved in 2010 into his own first home in Morley. Here he began to build a family and trying to improve the area that his children will grow up in.

Chris worked in Morley at Wilkos from 2007- 2015 and also ran a part time dog walking business in Morley

Now, Chris is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Credit Management and also runs a voluntary community project called The Deansway Project in Morley. He is passionate about promoting community spirit and encouraging others to get involved in improving our community.

As part of this project Chris has tackled the issue of dog fouling and littering and has set up a Neighbourhood Watch scheme. This provides a cleaner and safer place for local residents.

Chris said: "I feel I could bring youth, passion and drive with a real focus on improving my local area. I am approachable, passionate and have an eagerness to help people which I feel are the right ingredients needed for a Leeds City Councillor."

Chris has been an activist for the conservatives and has helped in both of Andrea Jenkyns' election campaigns.

"You thoroughly deserve this opportunity you are a great leader and I was privileged to have worked with you I wish you all the very best"- Chris a local resident and Navy Veteran

The Morley & Outwood Conservative Association are looking forward to the Local Elections that are being held on the 3rd of May 2018 across both the Leeds and Wakefield councils. We will be updating this section soon.
